Privacy Policy
Daily Planner is a to-do and shopping list app for Android. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. The short version: your tasks never leave your phone, the app has no accounts, and the only data that leaves the device is what Google's advertising and billing services collect to show ads and process purchases.
Data stored on your device
Your tasks, shopping list items, theme preference, and ad-removal purchase status are stored only in the app's local storage on your device. They are never uploaded, transmitted, or accessible to us. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes them.
No accounts
The app does not offer or require any form of account, registration, or sign-in, and we do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or contacts.
Advertising
The free version of the app shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect:
- Device identifiers (such as the advertising ID)
- Approximate location derived from your IP address
- Ad interaction data (impressions and taps)
- Diagnostic information about the SDK's performance
This data is collected by and shared with Google under Google's Privacy Policy; see also how Google uses data in advertising. All of it is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. We do not receive, store, or sell this data ourselves. You can reset or delete your advertising ID and limit ad personalization in your device's Google settings.
Purchases
The optional "Remove Ads" purchase is processed entirely by Google Play. We never receive your payment details. After purchase, ads are permanently disabled and the advertising data collection described above stops, since no ads are loaded.
Children
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.
Data deletion
We operate no servers and hold no user data, so there is nothing for us to delete on request: uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data, and advertising data held by Google can be managed through your Google and device ad settings linked above.
Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices change, this page will be updated and the effective date revised.
